Heat pumps and district heating

Heat pumps and district heating have a heat exchanger or heat tank, where the heat that comes in must be transferred to the hot water in the house.

The surface that transfers the heat must be completely clean, as just 0.1 mm of limescale will reduce the effect significantly. Amtech is in cooperation with district heating plants and heat pump manufacturers to avoid these problems, which can be solved easily and cheaply.
